These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of aurawav's website, Android app, and browser extension (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
aurawav records the music you listen to (via the Android app or browser extension), builds a profile and listening history around it, and lets you follow other users, chat, and react to tracks (“luvv”). Some track and album metadata (titles, artwork) is enriched automatically using third-party music databases.
You must be at least 13 years old to use aurawav. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile and for keeping your account credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You're responsible for the profile information, messages, and comments you post. Don't use aurawav to harass or impersonate others, post unlawful or infringing content, spam other users, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what's permitted by law. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting it, you grant aurawav a non-exclusive license to store and display it as part of operating the Service (for example, showing your listening activity to people who follow you).
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the Service collects (including through the browser extension) and how it's used. It's part of these Terms.
aurawav reads publicly available playback metadata from music platforms you use (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Deezer, Apple Music, Bandcamp, Tidal, and generic web audio) and enriches it using third-party databases (Deezer, MusicBrainz, iTunes, Wikipedia). aurawav is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these services. Your use of them remains subject to their own terms.
The aurawav name, logo, and app/site design are owned by aurawav. Album artwork, track titles, and related metadata shown in the Service belong to their respective owners and are displayed for identification purposes only.
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Track, artist, and album detection happens automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed (for example, due to how a music app reports what's playing). We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every song you listen to will be recorded.
To the extent permitted by law, aurawav isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of listening history or data.
You can delete your account at any time from the app or website. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use aurawav after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
